The brouhaha over Chandigarh's promised 24X7 water supply and the French Agency......................shares K J S Chatrath

 

                                                        Times of India, November 30, 2025.

With all our Indian expertise are we not in a position to conceive of and execute a 24X7 water supply scheme  and we have to go looking for foreign funding and expetise? Is it, to use an oft used phrase, 'such a rocket science'! 

Now that the repayment obligation seems to be shooting up, citizens of Chandigarh will have to make heavy  payment for the next 20 years or so....I do hope that I have not understood the issue properly and it will ultimately do great good to citizens of Chandiarh.
